Daddy's Home!!!! Yippee!!!

Hey....look....it's my Da-da!!! We are always excited when we get to drive to the airport and pick Daddy up in Cedar Rapids so that he can come home quicker! I recognized him from quite a ways away and I never really see him in this silly outfit he is wearing! I could not get to him fast enough!

Look Daddy.....I picked up a new habit while you were gone....I like to put my fingers in my mouth constantly! Mommy thinks it is a nervous habit! It is a good thing I am constantly wanting to clean my "Hands"......whenever I say "hands".....Mommy hands me a cleaning wipe in the back seat and I sit in my car seat and clean my hands and toys!

Hurry up and take the picture Mom before someone sees me with Daddy in his Halloween costume in July and my sister with her hands in her mouth.....how embarrassed can one baby be?? And honestly....do you ever put that camera down??

Welcome Home Da-da! I missed you!!!!

Da-da wanted to show us the aircraft model display they have at the airport...we really liked it too! Hi "Miey"!!!! I see you!!!! I see you too Lauren!!!

I liked the fighter jets the best! They made me smile and get very excited! Maybe I will grow up to be like Da-da! He loved airplanes when he was little too!

This is my new "cool thing" I do....I put my hands in my "Pock" and walk around....I also like to store small toys in them! Mommy started this when I was given a sucker at my Doctors appointment....she put it in my pocket and when we got out to the waiting room, I made sure to take it out about 7 times to show several different people! I am sure they all loved it!

Wooh-hooh! Nothing like a ride on Daddy's rollerboard!

As soon as we left the airport, we ordered a Pizza....sorry Aunt Carol and Grandma...we went to your favorite Tomaso's and took it to the park! I wanted no part of eating! Let me on the swings! Thanks Da-da....I like the big girl swing too!

Happy Birthday Grandpa!!!

It's always good when someone is celebrating a birthday in our family!!! What would a girl do without her cake??? Just reach over to her sisters tray to steal a little of hers!!! Mmmmm....I do love that cake! It puts a smile on my face real quick like!

I like it too but not quite as much as my sister does! She even gets mad if she can't get to it fast enough! Look out Aunt Carol....she's after the frosting again!

Intrigued by my lacing cards!

Mommy gave me some lacing cards once she realized that I understood how to use the beads at Grandma's house... I was able to push the string in hole and pull it out the other side....I didn't even realize I was being watched by Mommy because I was so focused on my project!

It seemed to help when I would put my tongue out.....

Mommy was shocked at how long I played with my lacing cards! Typically I never even sit on our couch....climb on it maybe....but never actually relax on it! I was pretty intrigued by these things!

Will it ever stop???

Here's what I think of Mommy's new camera......give us a break will ya! I'm cool with it!! Cheese!!!!

Mommy still does not know how to use any of the settings but even she can handle the auto setting! When Daddy comes home she is hoping to get some free time to start reading the manual! Haha.....good luck with that one Mommy!!

A trip to Des Moines...

A few weeks ago, our family headed to Des Moines so that Mommy could purchase the camera she had been saving for and researching for over a year! She told Daddy she was nervous about it because her classes haven't actually started yet and just looking at the camera is a bit intimidating to her! All I know is that hanging out at the hotel was just plain fun to me! I was cruising all over the hotel....Mommy was cringing at me doing this because of all of the "hotel germs"....what are germs Mommy? Outside of our hotel was a nice little lake with a water fountain, and the best part "fish"! I will pretty much repeat anything you say now! I put several words together and attempt to say anything I can! On this trip, Daddy stopped at McDonald's for me and as we were leaving, I said "Bye-bye" to the worker....Mommy said "Bye-bye Dude" and low and behold....every time we go through McDonald's now....when we leave....I say "Bye-bye Dude".......be careful what you say around me!

"My Da-da"

Getting to spend time with "My Da-da" is very special to me! Since he spends so much time away from home, we really value the time we get to spend together! Like him, I enjoy living a little on the edge....stuff like this makes Mommy nervous but Da-da understands me....I want to get as close as I can! He respects that because he is the same way.

We were telling the fish "Hi!"...

I was trying to talk him into going into the "wah-wah"....

This is one of Mommy's favorite pictures! I think Miley and I are pretty lucky! Our entire family loves us so much and we love them too! Sitting on my Daddy's lap must be one of the safest places in the world! "Luv ya' Da-da"......something I love to say!

We were enjoying watching some children feed the fish......then they offered us their "food" so that we could feed them also! How nice! Once they left though, Mommy and Daddy decided to get rid of the "food" because it was actually "Cinnamon Toast Crunch"cereal....they told me that it probably wasn't a good idea to feed it to the fish.....I seemed to be just fine with that even though I have no idea what they are talking about!

As we were heading back to our hotel, Daddy pointed out this "family"....he said it was like ours, a Mommy,Daddy and two little ones!

It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed ourselves.

I personally enjoyed "chillin" out at the hotel! Hey Mommy....grab me a blanket will ya! Thanks....that's better!

Me on the other hand.....I pretty much went full force all night and day! I finally fell asleep at 120am! Mommy was sad that we were rained out from going to the zoo, but we decided to try again sometime before summer is over! All we know is that we had fun just hanging out with Mommy and Daddy!

Lightening Strike puts us a little behind!

We are a bit behind on our blog updates.....we had a terrible storm and our computer/tv and phone were damaged during a lightening strike.....we will be updating more soon but for now here are several new posts....enjoy! Thank you so much for sharing in our little adventures in life!

One brave little baby!

This is the face of bravery! See what I mean....I am starting to like the water even more......and I don't even seem to mind the cold temperature anymore!......well this time anyway!

I like to wiggle my toes in it too.....

And take a little drink!

I even seem to like getting it all over my face! What can I say.....when you've got it....you've got it!

ahhhh.....summer......relaxing under the tree with Grandpa and a bottle......this is the life! Oh yes....and watching my sister learn how to play t-ball......way to go Lauren!

I have 4 teeth now!!!

I am getting so big! I now have 4 teeth!!!! Can you see the two on the bottom??? I am pretty proud of them and Mommy loves them too! If you were here when I wake up from my nap, this is what you would see.....me smiling showing them off!! I am a pretty happy baby! I did however learn how to scream recently!!! I am even louder then my sister was .....Mommy did not think that was even possible! I proved her wrong! And guess what.....when I scream, my sister joins in! She is a great friend to partake in all of the fun! Mommy and Daddy seem to just love it!!! hee-hee......

Starting out my day!

Just as I end my day brushing my teeth.....I like to start it just the same! When I wake up in the morning one of my favorite things to do is say "teeth"......Mommy thinks I do it because I believe in good hygiene....but little does she know that I simply love to play in the water! I make sure to get the back teeth.......this seems to make her happy......

I work on them for so long that I have to lean on the counter to relax a little while I work so hard to keep them white...

I suck the water off of the brush but Mommy thinks I am getting my tongue brushed too......she is so easy to fool!

And when I am all done, I rinse my brush off so it is ready for my next cleaning!!! Man this is fun!!! My Mom is pretty easy to please.....right Daddy??
