Letters from SANTA!!!!

Mommy!! Daddy!! LOOK LOOK!!! We got letters from Santa!!!! We can't get them opened fast enough!!! I am definitely not going to show my sister this.....he said I'm his favorite!!!

Miley, it's a good thing you can't read because it says right here that I am his favorite!!!

Look Mommy Look....it's says right here that we have been good girls! He likes the way we share toys and he wants us to go to bed early on Christmas Eve.....I am pretty sure he is talking to Lauren on that one!

UH OH Miley.....mine says I better start eating my vegetables....ooops....he really is watching!!! Mommy.....is it foggy in our house or did you leave your camera out in the cold car again.....naughty naughty Mama......

See these boots....I screamed and cried because Mommy and Daddy told me I had to wear them! I kept saying "NO BOOTS!! NO BOOTS!!"......but as long as they were letting me stand on the table and eat a sun chip....I was ok with it! I am not sure why they let us ON the table to read our letters from Santa, but it was fun! Mommy never lets me stand on chairs, couches....etc. Daddy however.....he is the push-over! If you are wondering why you have not received a Christmas card from us....well....between us passing a cold around all month and me falling off our chair in the kitchen....I ended up with a slightly black and blue eye and a big red bump from hitting (nearly) my eye on the corner of the table! Mommy was just walking into the dining room and Daddy was sitting right next to me! Daddy nearly got a bigger black and blue eye then I did.....Naughty Daddy! This is why Mommy does NOT let us stand on chairs!!! Ps. How do you like my long bangs?? Mommy cannot decide what to do with them....cut them or let them grow out?? What do you think?? They are constantly in my eyes and I will wear "pretties" for about 10 min.

Speaking of "pretties"......I actually ASKED Mommy for "Two pretties" this day....can you believe that?? I kept them in for at least an hour.....then out they came and I ended up walking around with two big bumps in my hair where the pretties were.......works for me!!

This is my latest and greatest joy in life! I absolutely LOVE Thomas the Train!!! Daddy and I build these tracks for him to go around and I will literally spend hours playing with them! Daddy and I picked out a set that can go by itself too but if you turn it on.....I get really mad!! I want to push Thomas around myself! When I become frustrated....everyone pays the price! haha.....I don't like to sulk alone!

I get so focused on what I am doing that I don't even know what else is going on in the house! Mommy thinks I am like Daddy when he is reading....

Mommy and Daddy have always taken a trip to the Amana Colonies in December to eat at "The Brick Haus".....they don't really know why they keep going because it's not all that great, but it is a tradition they started when they were dating so they just keep going! Here we are looking out the window trying to find kitty cats! They like to hang out in the parking lot so we were seeing how many we could spot! Mommy thought we should throw ours in the car and take them to the Amana Colonies for a little "road trip"......heehee....Daddy wouldn't have that though!

My first Donut!!

Here I am about to try my first donut! Mommy doesn't ever really buy them because they make her sick....too bad for her! She decided to pick them up before the storm hit us as a special treat! Once Mommy took these pictures, she decided that my "baby look" is just about gone!!! sniff sniff......still no luck talking Daddy into another baby.....whatever that means.... Ok....here I go......

OH YEAH BABY.....give me more! It's like a mini birthday cake for breakfast!! I could get used to this!!! Auntie Carol stopped by and had one with me!!! She and I have a lot in common.....that and our curls!! Mommy says I am getting ringlet curls in the back and if you pull them out they are pretty long! Grandma said Auntie Carol had curls like that when she was little! That can only mean one thing....we are both as cool as cool can get!!!

This is the first day of being stuck inside from the darn snow storm......break out the crayons Mom and your bag of tricks.....it's gonna be a long 3 days if we cannot leave this house!

And here is our car ......this was taken only 1/2 way through the storm.....I believe we got over 15 inches....YUCK!!!! Enough already!!!!

Taking care of myself!

I'm getting so big!!! They make me wash my own hair now!! What's up with that!!! I do a pretty good job though! If you think it looks great now....you should see it when I brush it too! I'm all that! I really do try to help wash my own hair and I insist on brushing it myself! If you don't give me the brush, I get very upset! I want my curls to look JUST RIGHT!!! A girls gotta look good you know!

We love tunnels!

Even though it was before Christmas, Daddy and Mommy found these tunnels at Menards and thought they were pretty cool! We agree!!! Daddy thought it would be a great idea to get two of them to keep us entertained because we had a big snow storm heading our way! Great idea Daddy!!! If you look close, you can see Daddy didn't just buy them for us......see that gray shirt behind me.....yep ....that's our Dad!! He came in too....Mommy stayed out though and took pictures!

Move it Mommy.....I'm on a mission.....this is a blast!

I love it too.....I like to crawl through both tunnels and sometimes meet my sister half way through.....we giggle as we are passing each other! There are even windows throughout the tunnels and Mommy and Daddy wave at us through them!

We like to have snacks in the tunnels too! One morning Mommy made us all breakfast and when Daddy gave me a piece of bacon....they were shocked when I "ate" it! I still won't eat meat so they thought it was great when I took off with a piece of bacon and came back for more....twice! Daddy later told Mommy that when he folded up the tunnels, there were pieces of bacon hid throughout both of them! haha.....I was trying to lure Miley in the tunnels like she was a little mouse!

The tunnels did indeed come in handy when we were trapped inside for 3 days!!! Yucky weather!!!

"Sisters"

One of the advantages of being the bigger sister is finding the good hiding places first.....and declaring them as yours.....but the best part is..... showing your little sister where they are so she can enjoy them too!

It's also fun to have her dress like you do and wear sandals with socks.....in the middle of winter! They sure do make for great dancing shoes!!! Check us out shaking our groove thing together!!

We really do have fun together now that Miley is much more mobile and can play a little more "grown up" style! She is a lot of fun to hang out with!!

And I really do LOVE her!!!

But don't let me fool you too much.....here I am about ready to strangle her for no reason at all! I tend to get a little out of hand sometimes because being little myself, I still don't quite get that it is not OK to push someone down when they are in your way! Mommy and Daddy are trying to teach me that I cannot do this!

(for the record....I wasn't actually trying to strangle her here.....just looks like it!.....we were actually passing hugs and kisses back and forth! I really do love my sister!)

Happy Birthday Grandma!!

Ok.....so this is about a month old, but we did have fun at Grandma's celebrating her Birthday!!! Grandma is so generous to share her piece of cake with me!! Share all you want.....me.....NO WAY! I want cake and I want my OWN! Thanks Grandma for celebrating your Birthday so that I can have my sugar fix! I love you.....Oh....and I love you too Grandma!!

Not sure how I got so messy eating frosting! Typically I am not too messy of an eater....but then again, Mommy only has Miley to compare me to so I usually look pretty good! No offense Miley....but you do make quite a mess! Mommy says that is probably the ONLY thing she will not miss about us being little....messy food messes.....UGGH.....secretly.....I could be a lot cleaner but it is so much fun to see her constantly picking up after us.....it's good for her! hahahaha.....I can say this now that Mommy is entering this on the blog AFTER Santa has visited our house!!! heeheehee....sneaky I know.....but still so funny!

Holiday Hoopla....

This better be good....and you better be ready when I get hot because you have about 3 seconds to get some of this off of me!!! Mommy thought we should all head downtown to join the Holiday Hoopla festivities....we aren't sure why but we all opted to join her!

They did have some cute things displayed up and down the streets.....every business participated in a window decorating contest too! There were some very good entries!

We never actually made it in the workshop, but it sure was cute from the outside!

I was pretty excited when they were handing out glow stick necklaces and I received one! Lucky me!! It was a very crowded activity so Mommy and Daddy spent all of their time trying to let us walk around but also keeping their hands on us.....which does not go over well with either of us! Then...they made an announcement over the PA that there was a missing 2 yr. old....YIKES!!! Now we know why Mommy is like a hawk! We little ones are really fast! Luckily that little girl was reunited with her Mommy.......Whew!!

STOP EVERYTHING!!!!!

Are you KIDDING me??? A store FULL of trains!!! Somebody pinch me!!!! This is like a dream come true!!! Let me in!!!! I could have stood here for hours watching the trains!!! Daddy and I went into the store while Mommy chased Miley around the street! My sister just doesn't get the train obsession I have! She doesn't appreciate the finer things in life yet! Mommy knew when we came out of the store, because I stood in the doorway and had a 2 yr. old tantrum! I was NOT happy! Daddy totally understood because he would feel the same way if someone made him leave an airplane display before he was ready! So back in we went.....3 more times.....each time I had my melt-down in the same place....it seemed to be pretty effective so why ruin a good thing! Mommy took me in after the 3rd time! She thought it was a pretty neat place too!

Big deal....where's the cookies??? How about some hot chocolate.....what do you expect a girl to do out here.....freeze her little hiney off?

Finally....Santa appeared from the top of a building.......(big deal!) Take me back to the Train Shop....that's where all of the fun is! So....he "climbed" down the wall......YEAH!......did I mention the train store has a basement set up with trains too!!!!

After Santa's "exciting" arrival, we walked back to the car and realized they were having fireworks also! YIPPEE.....that was cool! We sat in the car with the heat on HIGH trying to thaw out and enjoyed the fireworks show! It was a fun night and we are so glad we went!

When we came home, low and behold....the bunnies were in the same spot we left them....and they were anxious to play with us! We like to place them in the middle of the floor and dance around them while Mommy sings "Ring around the Rosey"

It's so bazaar....I keep finding these bunnies in the most conspicuous places.....in the closet in my room.....then behind all of the clothes bins....then around the corner in my closet.....it's like they are being "hid" by someone that is tired of looking at them! It's ok though....I keep finding them and getting them back out to play with! They are such a perfect size....you can't really hide them....they stand out like a sore thumb....and by Easter......they will be like part of the family! It's like we get to celebrate Easter year round! Exciting huh Mommy!!

Brace yourselves for the fashion statement of the YEAR!!!

That's right people! I know how to dress! Mommy is not brave enough to take me completely out of my diaper so I am just going to cover it up! I have had these ELMO undies for quite a while and I just recently decided that I should be wearing them! When Mommy and Daddy change me, I INSIST on wearing these over my diaper! I mean really.....who wouldn't want these babies on?? I love to play "Ring around the Rosey" with my toys....this giraffe is quite a sport about it! He stays right where I place him and when I get dizzy, he makes for a soft fall!

I do stop to give him and my baby a drink because playing hard can make a girl and her toys thirsty!

I have been doing much better with helping Mommy out! When I spill something, I actually take it upon myself to clean it up! (This is not true when I am mad and throw stuff intentionally.....then it takes Mommy lots of tricks to get me to pick up! She is persistent though and when she tells me she cannot reach something and needs my help....I FOLD!) As long as I feel like I am helping out, then it is OK! But as a form of discipline....not gonna happen!

They fit....they fit!!! I just LOVE shoes! Mommy doesn't get this! She is happy with tennis shoes and one pair of brown shoes....she has no sense of style!

I better tighten these babies up....it's about to get crazy! Mommy keeps telling me they are "too small".....yah.....whatever Mommy....it's all about fashion and darn it....I look GOOD!!!!

I better jack up my Elmo's cause I am about to get some air time!!!

YAH BABY!!! Too small nothing Mama.....these shoes give a girl some serious air time!! Move over NIKE! My green sandals are all that!

YAH- WHOO-WHEEE......Did I mention it is after midnight?? Mommy is sitting in the chair taking pictures of me hoping that I will wear out soon....no such luck! This night I went to bed at 2 am! I am just like my Mommy! I love to stay up late! The only difference is that I can sleep late too if someone would let me!
