Miley spent a little time in China.......we think she knows how to use chop sticks......well one anyway! I spent some time in India.....shaking it!
Then we all headed to Mexico and attempted to break the pinata....no luck though.....

May I interest you in a little steel drum music? We both really enjoyed the little fruit stand!! Maybe Auntie Carol should turn her van into something similar to this for her farmers market display......sure is cute and eye catching!
Ahhh....this is a little scary....you aren't going to come at me with a straight jacket are you?? Why is this room padded everywhere?? Should I be worried??

This is cool too!! We can both write on here at the same time!! This place has some great ideas!

Looks like we are going to need a driver please...... GRANDMA!!!!!!

Thanks Grandma....
you always make everything "just right!"

Future site of our new Home!

As many of you know, our family has been planning to build a new house in the future.....which meant about 2 years.....however....one Sunday morning, Mommy and Daddy were having a conversation about how difficult it was for all of us to be crammed into our small house. Poor Miley does not even have a room of her own! They decided to go to a few open houses to see if there was something they could find that was a little bigger to get us by until they were ready to take the plunge! They went through a few....we had a blast running through other people's houses! But....everything needed too much work and right now....we just don't have time for that! Daddy drove to this neighborhood because someone had a House for sale by owner....so he went in while we waited in the car....Mommy didn't want to go in because she didn't care for the outside of the house. When Daddy came back....after quite a while....he insisted that Mommy go in because he said "This house is SO perfect for our family right now!"....he told her it has an open floor plan so Mommy would be able to see us at all times! So....Mommy peeled herself out of the car, and we all went in! Much to Mommy's surprise......Daddy was RIGHT....(there...documented....yes...he was right!) This house had "OUR HOME" shouting out!! Although we didn't pick that house.....we went inside the model home in the neighborhood.....and Daddy picked this lot (the one Mommy wanted required the larger homes to be placed there!) Her spot was in a cul-de-sac! So here it is......the FUTURE site of our HOME!!! And here you have it just about a week later!!! Once you pick your spot and floor plan....these people don't mess around! This neighborhood is not "custom homes".....you pick a floor plan...make changes if you want.....and then it is finished in about 3 mo.! This is what attracted my parents here.....they needed something quick! It is also the fastest growing neighborhood in our community....and BONUS....it is LOADED with kids!!! We have heard that the house behind us has 3 little girls!!! The youngest being Miley's age....and as we were driving through the neighborhood.....someone stopped us and invited us in their home because they had the same one we picked! How sweet.....they wanted to show us the changes they made to the floor plan to help us out! Daddy was especially shocked by this.....love that mid-western hospitality! These people live just 4 houses down from the other 3 little girls.....and they have 2 girls!!! Emma and Grace.....Emma is Lauren's age!! Mommy was so excited for us! And for herself......their Mommy is a scrapbooker!! YIPPEE!!!
Already making a path for the big equipment to make their way to start digging!!!!

And.....let the digging begin!!!

Mommy asked them to please leave the big rocks! They deserve to stay in their original home!!

All of these were taken within 1 week!! Thank you Aunt Carol for risking your life for this shot! The most exciting thing for Mommy is an attached garage!!! Do you know that our Mommy takes 4 trips to get everything loaded up into our car so we can go anywhere? She has to park our van in the street because it does not fit in our driveway!! The first trip is to load all of our "goods" and to warm up the car....the second it to load Miley....she has to go first otherwise she is up the stairs by the time Mommy loads me.....then I go next....lately I have been locking Mommy out of the house as she is loading Miley up....heehee! Daddy inserted a new storm door and did not give Mommy a key....so I turn the tempting lock.....then I cannot turn it back! Mommy stands on the steps coaching me through it! I keep saying "Mommy do it....Daddy do it!".....then with persuasion....I get it! Mommy started to lock it so I cannot even pull the door shut....I would follow her out to the car, but with all of the ice...snow...and our slight incline in the driveway....Mommy just carries me which is why it takes SO many trips just to get us out of the house....the last trip to the car.....the one where we say "I want baby Carol....or Kitty Cats....." which ever items we don't see within our reach....we want them!
So.....if you have made it through this LONG blog entry....you have only a small taste of why our Mommy is so excited to be able to drive our car IN the garage....and open our doors....and let us WALK into our house by ourselves! AHHHH......the thought of it!!!!
We will keep you posted on the progress!

"La-tee-tah"

Grandma taught me to say "La-tee-tah" when we have tea with our boas on....even though we weren't having a tea party....I pretended that we were so Mommy grabbed her camera and got a quick shot....that is all I allowed....

My Crazy Curls!!!

Curls....curls.....and more curls......I have developed ring-lets in the back..... on the sides.....
and in the front!!

Mommy is anxious to see if I keep them and how I will manage them as I get older! All she knows is.....DARN.... THEY ARE CUTE!!!!

Mommy likes to just let them go wild and do their thing....kind of her philosophy with me too.....I'm kinda naughty and full of determination.....not always....just when I have to be! chuckle chuckle.....thank goodness for cuteness....it sure helps a girl get away with stuff! It really works for my sister too.....our big brown eyes are quite handy! (especially with Daddy.....what a push-over!)
