Nice dinner Mommy....there goes your Mother of the year award....feeding your kids pizza at the bowling alley!
This looks more like a dance floor to me! Daddy trying to show me that it is not a dance floor but indeed a bowling alley! I am not sure if he is the one that should be teaching me though.....Mommy said that when they were dating, they used to go bowling with some of their friends....and Daddy spent more time on the floor then he did on his feet....he claims it was the slippery shoes, but Mommy thinks he was just falling for attention possibly.....and guess what.....he fell this night also! No kidding!!! He "claims" that he tripped over me but lets be real.....I only trip Grandma!!

Oh please....turn off the light....I will go over the line if I feel the need to.....by the way...this is right before Daddy fell.....he came after me when I crossed the line! He fell and so did I! It is possible that we aren't allowed back into this bowling alley ever again! OOps!

Bowling or no bowling....hanging out on my Grandma's lap is fun no matter where I am! I love you Grandma!!

We really did have a great time and we definitely need to go again! Great idea Auntie Kaleigh!

The protective older sister....

Being the youngest, I have to try to prove myself "big" sometimes....this means doing all possible to take the dangerous routes just to show off a little....Daddy left his flight bag in front of the chalk board so I took it upon myself climb up on it so I could draw a little.....apparently it even made my sister a little nervous....check out how she is all ready to catch me if I fall! What a great sister!

"Ma-ma take picture of baby"

We were hanging out at Grandma's house and as soon as we came home, I headed right for my new horse.....I love that horse.....I placed my baby on the horse and said "Ma-ma take picture of baby" ....I have been shocking my parents with a few complete sentences here and there! They can usually make out what I say, but lately.....it is like carrying on a full fledged conversation! It is so much fun to see their reaction when I "whip out my smart" on them!
.....then I told Mommy "One more time"......so here is our second shot of me and my baby as I stand next to her while she enjoys riding my horse! Another sentence that sort-of got my parents attention recently....I walked up to daddy and said, "Daddy, I have a hungry tummy! I want Ice-Cream!".....my parents both started to laugh and the best part was that we ended up heading to Cold Stone Creamery because when you ask like that.....you get results!

My First Ponytail....

Even though this is being posted over a month later.....I am still proud of "My first Pony-tail"....that baby mullet I was sporting finally paid off!! I have gotten much better about wearing pretties in my hair, but I still only like them for a little while! I like to have Mommy put them in my hair before we go somewhere and then once she loads us up in the car and starts driving....I like to pull them out! Heehee......that way when she looks back at me, I have crazy hair that she eventually has to fix....without a brush! It's great! You think she would learn and put a spare brush in the car....but she just hasn't gotten it yet!

New Years Eve

We headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a little New Years Eve celebration.....here you will see one of the many benefits of hanging out at Grandma's.....she has a TREAT DRAWER!!! It is filled with goodies just in reach for the two of us! The best part is when Mommy isn't looking, we head over....open it ourselves and dig in! Grandma has been trying to fill it with fruit snacks but when we dig hard, we can still find a "Tootsie Roll" .......gotta love a tootsie roll! And then we hang out with Grandma to share our goods......Gotta love a Grandma....no limits! Just whatever puts a smile on our face!!!

Hi my name is Miley and this is my LAST bottle! I didn't even know it but apparently my New Years "resolution".....(whatever that is) is to LET GO OF THE BOTTLE........WHAT???? The good news is......I didn't even care......Mommy just threw it away and I never even acted like I wanted it......I had been drinking out of a sippy cup since about 6 mo anyway so no biggie! Had Mommy realized this earlier....she would have let that "1" bottle we had left just go a long time ago! Pretty cool huh.....15mo old and already able to stick to a resolution....that's right....I'm cool....just ask me!

Whenever Mommy asks us if we want to go to Grandma's...we get so excited! I like to say...."play with Grandma's kitchen".......It is a blast!!! If Grandma asks for a drink....I get her a cup...go to the sink....and fill it up! She is such a great playmate....that Grandma....she sits on our little chairs....acts like us....enjoys the same things we do .....and she even picks up after us too! When we arrive at Grandma's house, it is always clean and nicely organized....then Grandpa says....watch.....in about 1 minute it will look like a tornado came through here! He is right!! We can make a mess in no time!!! When Mommy makes a game out of clean up time, we do really well helping out!

Still savoring that last bottle.....clearly a "girl" .....see me multi-task....I can down a bottle and do the dishes at the same time! And...I have a pan of brownies in the oven too.....

I would ring up your order here on my cash register, but can't you see.....I am on break! Give me a minute will ya.....

Having a sister to play with is (usually) so much fun! We really do play quite well together.....don't be too fooled though....we do have our moments and let me tell ya....when it comes to getting what you want....11mo. between the two of us really puts up for a good battle every now and then! In the end....we both end up with a toy that works for both of us!

Playing at Grandma and Grandpa's house always makes us Happy! When it comes time to go though.....watch out! Miley always gets "scooped up" by Mommy....but me....I "Go Hide" as I like to tell you! I have no problem letting you know that I am going to buy some time by hiding......then when Mommy gets me all dressed up in my coat and shoes....she runs outside to put Miley in the car....by the time she gets back in, I have my shoes and coat off and I am back playing with "Grandma's kitchen"......that Mom of ours....she'll never really "get it"!

We didn't stay till the end to bring in the New Year.....we were home by 1030 and even Mommy who usually stays up until 2am was sleeping before midnight! Daddy was at work and probably fast asleep before midnight also! We aren't much of a "Hip-Happinin' Family"!! Happy New Year everyone!

Christmas Day 2009

Apparently we have been "Good Girls" as Miley would say.....only she would say...."goo-gir"....this is what we woke up to on Christmas morning! Hot diggidy dog.....let us at it! Saddle up partners....we got a HORSE!!!

But of course the trains are the biggest hit with my sister!!!! I think my parents should change her middle name to "Thomas"!
Ok....now that Santa has come and gone.....will the real Miley please stand up......Here I am as Mommy caught me in action......grabbing my sisters trains.......and......

"Run like the Dickens"........(a phrase my Mommy's Grandma used to use when she was little)

Go....go....go......what really stinks though is that my sister always gets her trains back! But man is it fun to take them away from her! I can run at about mach 4 with her toys when I want to!!! It's great!
I bet Santa isn't watching right now....he's gotta be tired after delivering all those toys last night! Hopefully he doesn't read blogs and hold this against me for next year!!!

Check it out.....Elmo on a pillowcase! Thanks Santa......what is the deal with my name everywhere.....my hiney....my pillowcase...what next? Thanks Miley....I think I will do a little "dashing through the snow" with my jingle bells!

Look Daddy.....

Oh....this is going to be fun!!! Now quick.....somebody grab me a Kleenex! Darn colds....we have been passing it back and forth all month!

A bag full of musical instruments! What a great idea Santa! We have been having parades in the living room nearly everyday playing all of them! We like to march to our Sesame Street music! Miley even goes to the CD player....points at it and says "Elmo"......too cute!
