Digging out maternity clothes....again!

Got ya.....haha....no it's not for Mommy yet! Grandma made it home safely and is in need of some big shirts to cover her beautiful big sling and arm cushion she gets to wear! Thanks for all of your prayers during her hospital stay now lets hope for a quick recovery!!! Welcome home Grandma!!!

another update on Grandma....

Mommy called Grandpa to check in with him and he said Grandma was sleeping really sound! This is great news because she had been only sleeping about 15 min. here and there all night and day. She was given new medicine to help with the nausea and apparently that must have helped! We were glad to hear that she is resting so we are not going to head up to visit her. We are going to just keep praying that she gets better and hope she sleeps a lot! We are missing our Grandma and want to play with her pretty bad! Mommy told her that if she wanted to play with us again, she had to wear a helmet....haha! Poor Grandma!

Update on Grandma...

We went to visit Grandma today after lunch and she still is not doing as well as we would wish for her to be. She is extremely nauseated and feels worse when she eats something or moves around. She had not seen the surgeon as of 2:00 when we left but figured he would check in with her later this evening. We will keep you posted as we get information from Grandpa! Get better quick Grandma!!! We love you so much!!!

Prayers for our Grandma!!!

Today while Grandma was playing with us, she had an accident!!! I was walking around a parking lot holding her hand and I tripped.....of course Grandma is always looking out for us so she went to step over me so she would not hurt me and instead she fell herself and landed on her shoulder! Miley was already in the van and Mommy was just getting ready to put me in my car seat too.....I was so scared that I was screaming because I knew my Grandma was hurt and I love her Soooo much!!!! Mommy didn't know who to help first because I had never cried quite like that before! Mommy helped Grandma up then comforted me but Grandma was in so much pain and actually heard her shoulder break! Grandma ended up having surgery tonight and now has 2 pins in her shoulder!!! POOR GRANDMA!!!! We are so sad to see her in pain and we are asking for everyone to please say prayers that she recovers quickly!!! We love our Grandma more then anyone can imagine!!! And she loves us even more then that! While she was in excruciating pain, she wanted to make sure that we were ok!!! We love you Grandma and want you to get better right away!!!!

Burning off energy at the mall!

When we have bad weather, Mommy and Daddy usually take us to the mall to run around! Mommy called her friend Kristi to see if she and Cody wanted to join us! Cody is a brave and tough little guy! I had fun with him! I was running so fast that Mommy could barely snap a picture! I was trucking with my new snack container that Aunt Care bought for me! I love it!

Cody and I both wanted to play on the escalators! Both of our Mommy's were not going for it! Darn!!

Mommy is on a mission!

Yikes....Our Mommy is on a mission to get rid of EVERYTHING in our house....I heard her say it! She and Daddy cleaned out the porch so she could put all of the stuff she is going to get rid of out there. I decided that I would help by sweeping it out! "Hello ....is this Merry Maids.....can you give my Mommy a hand before she sells my toys too!"

I was being silly and decided to take Mommy's camera case for a walk.....I thought about burying it but she seems to love her camera so I opted not to! I don't really know what I am going to do with it, but it did make me laugh!

I am getting brave with the playground equipment....but I am not all that interested in the slides...I love the swings!

When I woke up from my nap today, Mommy told me I looked just like Daddy to her! Funny thing....Grandma was pushing me on the swings and she said...."Miley....you look just like your Daddy today!"....Mommy thought that was so funny that they both noticed it today! Maybe the shirt has something to do with it!

We had a nice weekend and the park is always a hit!

Up and down and Up and down....

I was quite proud of myself when I was able to step down this big step without holding on to anything or anyone! I clapped and told myself "Goo-gil".....(good girl) I get very excited when I accomplish something new and make sure to celebrate the moment! Mommy and Grandma clapped for me too!

While Miley was swinging with Grandma, I kept practicing! I wanted to make sure I had mastered it so I could show Daddy!! He will be proud of me!

OK....I got it and I love it!!! I am getting to be a big girl!!

I have so much fun at the park! When Mommy pulls into the parking lot, I say "swing" and I even unbuckle my own seat belt now! (the top part) I start to kick and scream because I am so excited!! I run all the way over to the swings laughing the entire way! As soon as I get there, I pick one out for Miley first and say "Miey"...then I declare mine right next to her! Miley loves the swings too!

Manners

Mommy thinks I am not listening to her every time she says "Thank-you"! But this week I have let her know that I do indeed pay attention in my own little way! Daddy handed me a treat and I said "Thanks Da-da"! When they made a big deal out of it, I made sure to "ham" it up and kept saying it! I loved the attention it gave me!
I also love to say "Be right back" Grandma taught me that one! It all runs together but if you know what you are listening for, you will hear it.
I have been putting several words together and testing out new ones too. However, I have lost interest in the questions like "What does a cow say".....let it go Mommy....I have moooooved on ok! I can only tell you what a cow says....what a kitty says.....what a doggie says.....so many times! If you can't get it by now then apparently you are the one with the memory issues!
I have also become obsessed with cleaning my hands! Mommy loves this one! Grandma gave me a hand cleaner wipe one day in the back seat and just handed it to me to do myself! She showed me how she did it and now I love to clean my hands by myself! I walk around the house saying "hands" so Mommy will give me a wipe! I even took one and lined up all of my babies and wiped all of their hands off! Mommy loves this because as many of you know...our Mommy is a bit of a germ freak! She is getting better though!....well sort of!

Big News!!!

Daddy just discovered that Miley has her first tooth!!!! Big girl!!!! Time to go shopping for a tooth brush to polish up that pearly white!! Once it is "visible" to the naked eye...we will attempt to get a picture. Haha....good luck with that one!

Walking my baby...

Tonight "Da-da" and I took my baby for a walk in the new stroller we bought at a visit to Toys R Us last night. I love when Daddy comes along shopping because he thinks it is so cute when I find a toy I like that I often get to take it home! Hee-hee.....thanks Daddy! Did you know my Daddy's name is Ty? I just recently discovered that and tried it out a few times! I think I like Da-da better though! My baby enjoyed her walk too!

She stayed awake the entire time and did not even cry! Good Baby!!

Big Stuff in her very own High Chair!!!

Check me out in my "Big Girl" High Chair! I LOVE IT!!! It is great because I get to sit right next to my sister during meal time! She makes me laugh and I love how she always looks out for me! As soon as she sits in her chair, she says "MIEY"....she wants me right next to her as soon as possible! I love having a Big Sister! "What ya' havin' Lauren"

I'm ready Mommy! Let's go...let's go...let's go!!! I've been ready.....and I cannot wait!!!! I even have my new Elmo shirt on!! I hope Elmo notices!!Daddy, we are sorry you could not go but we will be sure to tell Elmo "Hello" for you! Aunt Care is kindly taking your place....Thanks Aunt Care! You are always there when we need you and we really appreciate it!

I decided to collect some of the confetti that came flying down at us after the show ended! PRETTY!!!! I cannot figure out why others aren't doing the same....oh well....more for me!

This is my "I am about to fall asleep after a really fun time with Elmo look".....2 min. after this and I was OUT!!! Miley lasted about 15 minutes longer then I did! We both slept all the way home!

"Baby"...when I wake up I will tell you all about my Elmo Show! But right now....I am way to tired! Miley on the other hand kept going!! You go Miley!
