Home Sweet Home!!

We were so grateful that we had a safe trip home and so far....no Swine flu! On our flight home, Miley slept about 30 min total and Lauren about 6 min......3 min on landing in Minneapolis and 3 min on landing into Waterloo......We started our day at 430 am and finished after midnight! It was a very long day! Miley enjoyed her first flights and found that Mommy's necklace is quite possibly the best entertainment! She dropped about 4 pacifiers.....3 bottles.....and a few toys! When we left our row, Mommy carried both of us down the aisle and left Daddy behind to clean up our mess! If only we had a picture to show you just what a mess we created! Yikes! When we arrived into Waterloo, we had a wonderful surprise!!!! Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Care were there waiting for us!!! We loved it!!!! We soaked up all of the attention and then headed home to find May baskets on our steps and a Welcome home balloon! Also, Grandma made my favorite Oreo dessert!!! Can't wait to eat that in the tub!!! Thanks to everybody that helped make our trip possible!!! We love you for it! It was such a nice vacation and brought so many nice memories to our family!

I love my new snugly bunny! I will be taking him to bed with me! Certainly I will sleep good tonight!
One of the highlights of this trip as "told" by Lauren is this....Being in Palm Springs you become very dehydrated very quickly!!! It is so important to drink as many liquids as you can! I was not wanting to do this because I just wasn't thirsty! Daddy was stressing how important this was and became worried when I was not getting enough liquids! He did something that made me giggle from the inside out!!! He gave me a bottle!!!! Mommy could barely watch! I had such a big smile on my face that I could barely wrap my lips around the nipple! I sucked down about 9 oz. three times a day and even took it to bed with me! I was tickled pink! I slept in a pack - n - play next to Mommy and she laid there watching me and kinda thought it was funny to watch me think I was getting away with something! She even discovered that I talk in my sleep....guess what I said? Yep...."baba"! When we were out and about...I shouted "baba".....and got my way everytime! I walked through the airport literally holding the bottle by the nipple between my teeth letting his swing from side to side of my mouth....then when I would drop it....I would take it over to the water fountain for Mommy to clean it off! All of these sure signs that I was far to big to be doing what I was doing! I loved it!! I heard Mommy talking to Daddy on the drive home that he had to make a promise not to give into my "baba" requests when we got home! It's kind of like Vegas....What happens in Palm Springs...stays in Palm Springs..........Sunday morning about 6 am....Mommy could hear me talking in my sleep again!.....I was saying "baba".....I loved that bottle and will probably dream about if for a few nights! Thanks for sharing Miley!!! And Daddy.....Mommy thanks you for this!!!! UGGHH!!!
