IT'S OFFICIAL!!!

Today is the day that Mommy has declared Miley an OFFICIAL walker!!! She has been taking steps here and there for quite a while...but today....with no pressure from anyone....she just took off and was so proud of herself! Mommy is so proud of her for not giving in to the pressure of everyone trying to help....she went on HER terms and did such a great job at it!! Mommy hopes this is a sign of things to come.....don't give into peer pressure ever Miley....(this is a quality Mommy is taking full credit for because Daddy is downstairs watching tv!) heehee.....pictures to follow eventually....Mommy has been too busy to blog lately and the birthday pictures did her in for a while!! Nite Nite everyone!!!

My 2nd Birthday!!!!

What an exciting day!!! It isn't everyday that a girl turns 2!!! I seemed to know that something special was going on....so to make Mommy happy, I left my piggy tails in for a few hours!! We headed to Sam's club because quite frankly.....I LOVE IT there! I rip through the aisles like I own the place....Mommy is pretty sure that when they see us coming they probably say "Oh great....here they come again!"....but we don't care! We still love it! I burn up so much energy here because I literally run up and down every aisle!!

Here I am stopping at the Bose speaker demonstration.....I like to stop here to shake it a little! I don't know why everyone else doesn't break out in dance!! It's so much fun!!!

I watched a little TV......well....actually a LOT of TV! They have so many!!! And they are all huge!!!

I think I am going to have a great day today!! I can't wait to see what the day has in store for me!! YIPPEE for being 2!!!!!

Mommy thought it was funny that I went to the jewelry counter to admire all of the pretties!!! Daddy tried to tell me that it was all "UCKY".......I think Daddy is wrong!

Look....Look.....It's Elmo!!!

While we were taking our nap, Mommy and Daddy decorated for the big party!! We loved it! It was like Elmo had invaded our home!!! Now all we need is our guests to arrive!!! How exciting to have a Birthday!!!

Daddy drew our traditional Birthday sign.....Thanks Dada...It looks great! Wow Mommy....It really does look like an Elmo party!!!

I cannot wait to sink my teeth into that!!!

Despite all of the cute decorations, I think my favorite part was the personalized Elmo CD where Elmo is singing my name throughout all of the songs! Mommy had it playing as everyone was arriving and we all danced to it! Aunt Carol can really cut a rug!! At first I was creeped out that Elmo knew my name, but once I got used to it, it was great!! We have been dancing to Elmo everyday since my Birthday!

Yummy Pizza!!!

I like to ham it up when Mommy gets out the camera!! But only for a while...because I do love pizza!

It's clearly a special event....Mommy never lets me eat in the living room.....(shhh....Daddy always does!)

I am thinking I am pretty cool getting away with it too.....

I think Aunt Carol is ready for the cake too.......

No party is complete without the party hats!!! Mama....don't make me whip out my ugly......get this hat off fast or it is going to get loud real quick like!!

Auntie Kaleigh.....that is my rocking doggie......I got it for my Birthday......which should tell you something....because I am only one you know! You may want to upgrade to a horse!

Auntie Kaleigh is a fun one to play with.....she hangs out under the table like I do! Daddy is always making forts for me to play in....I love it!! Miley loves it too!!

Aunt Carol's presents are always the biggest hit! Mommy has decided that her presents need to be opened last! We always seem to lose interest in everything else once her present has been opened! You Rock Aunt Carol!!

Hi Big Bird!! If you ask me....the highlight of my sister's birthday was the fact that I walked around a little....on my own terms of course....and....the morning after being bombarded with Elmo's in our house......I now say "Elmo"!!! "Elm" for short every now and then!! I do love Elmo too!!

Happy Birthday Big sister!!! I do love you!!! You are pretty nice to me! I love when you kiss me when you think I have a Boo-boo....and how you hold my hands when I am trying to walk.....how you make sure that I get everything you get....and you are always asking Mommy if "Miley Mad Mama?" One of my favorites is when I fall asleep at night and you are heading to bed...you give Mommy the "Shhh" signal...then you slam my door shut so nobody wakes me up! I love when you wake up in the morning and shout out my name and we scream back and forth to each other! I love how you gather a ton of toys for me and throw them in my crib so I don't get bored...Mommy wonders how I haven't cracked my skull yet!! And despite the fact that you sometimes get jealous when I want to play with your toys...and the fact that you sometimes try to gouge my eyes out.....I do think you are the greatest sister ever!! We have a lot of fun times ahead of us!! I love you soo much and I think you are funny! Mommy says a sibling is one of the greatest gifts God gives a child....and I have to agree!

Lookie....Lookie.....Lauren.....another book!!!! I love my Barney Daddy! Great idea!! Check out the Easter Bunny I found in the closet....I thought she needed to be invited to my party also! She looks like she is having a great time too!

What a perfect ending to a perfect Birthday! I love my sit-n-spin too! I have not quite figured out how to make it spin all on my own...Mommy and Grandma agree that they don't spin like they "used to!".....whatever that means!
