"Slide"..my new word and a really good time!

When I woke up from my nap, Mommy had our new slide in the living room just waiting for me!!! Mommy taught me how to go up the stairs..... How to get into position...(on my" Hiney"...my new body part she taught me how to identify and point out to others....)

How to push off using my hands.....

and most importantly.....Whee.....how to slide down!

I had so much fun! I must have went down about 100 times in a row.....screaming each time! Thank you Aunt Care and Uncle Loyd for going back to the garage sale to get it while Mommy worked at her own garage sale! She was very excited about this find and the inch worm too! Mommy had a great weekend....she earned enough money for 1/2 of the camera she is going to need for her Professional Photography program she starts next fall. She is very excited and has been on a wait list for this program for quite a while!

Birthday celebration at Aunt Carol's and Uncle Loyd's house

Ok Grandpa you can let go now! Wheee.....this is going to be fun when I can actually ride this bike! Aunt Care has lots of room in her living room to ride! Good thing Uncle Loyd (aka Ho-ho) was having a birthday celebration....Mommy realized she didn't even take pictures of it though! Sorry Uncle Loyd....maybe we can have another one.....yummy....more cake!

When we pull into Aunt Care's driveway, I say "baby" ....I love to play babies at her house! I hate that Mommy makes me leave them behind though! Aunt Care's babies have clothes too....they are pretty!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a pretty quick Father's Day celebration. Mommy only had time during her break to celebrate with us so we all gathered for a quick lunch at Grandma and Grandpa's house...during nap time we might add! We love you Daddy! Can't you tell by the shirts Mommy made sure we wore today! Grandpa's Girls!!

Check it out! The bakery hands out free cookies to kids! This is great....a drive-thru for kids! We'll take two cookies to go please! Give me my cookie Lauren....I have a tooth you know....and apparently it's a sweet tooth! Do they have any with frosting??

Mommy...Lauren is driving and eating...is that safe? Next thing you know she is going to pull out her Elmo phone! I'm going to tell the police.....oh wait.....we are the police! See our car....it says so!

I found this "woof-woof" at a garage sale with Mommy! I played with it in the car all the way home but had no idea that I could actually wear it! It sings "How much is that doggie in the window". Did you know that for $1.00 you can change a child's life? "Woof-woof"! Grandma showed me what I looked like in the mirror and by golly....I look like a pink dog! "Woof-woof"!

Another one of our great deals! $2.00 for my sweet little "bike".....I ride it all around the house and say "bike"!

Ahhh....the life of a "trike-drive"! The wind between my toes....hair blowing in the breeze....ok so it's the air conditioner blowing on my feet and I have a severe case of bed head...so what...a girl's gotta dream a little!

I LOVE our garage sale outings Mommy! As soon as I get back in the car, I say..."more....more"! The only down side is that everyone seems to sell their strollers and I am so excited because I push them around their driveways.....however, when it's time to go....I get very mad and cry that we have to leave the strollers behind! I don't get it!

Woah....I took quite a few spills....this thing is slippery! I was tough about it though....I got right back up and kept going! "Here Miey".....just put your hand right here to get used to the water.....it's really cold!

My BIG Moment!!!!

Mommy was watching me crawl around in my crib and she was just thinking to herself that it would not be long until I would pull myself up all on my own.....and guess what....about 5 seconds later this is the face she was starring at!!! Look at the pride on my face!!! I was smiling so big all she could see was a mouth full of gums....oh yes and my tooth too! Aren't I SO BIG!!!!! I was so excited I was laughing out loud! I was doing all I could to wake up my sister because I know she would be just as excited for me!!!

I don't want to brag....but I am pretty good at this! Wanna see me do it again Mom??

How about again??? I typically go do bed about 9:00 but not tonight! My excitement kept me up until 1:00am! Isn't that great!!!

Who would have guessed....a new chew toy for me!!! Standing up is going to open up a whole new world for me!!! YIPPEE!!!!! I'm a big girl!!!!!!!
